curating experiences — Rosewood Hotels & Resorts
Hong Kong City Guide
A guidebook and memento to help hotel guests maximise and remember their stays
Founded in 1979, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts operates 28 properties in 16 countries. In 2019, the group opened the Rosewood Hong Kong, with a luxurious ‘vertical manor’-style design by Tony Chi, in a building by Kohn Pedersen Fox.
Situated in the new Victoria Dockside cultural district, the property is a major drawcard for travellers looking for a new experience of Hong Kong. To improve their guests’ experience of the city, Rosewood Hong Kong commissioned Fifth Black to create a bespoke Hong Hong guidebook.
With the hotel team and our own ear-to-the-ground collaborators, we compiled a list of must-see destinations encompassing the known and the hidden.
We produced a compact, on-brand 32-page book in English and Traditional Chinese (with Simplified Chinese provided in digital format), working with local illustrator Don Mak on a fold-out map and Hin Cheng on section introductions.
